Colorado Wedding at Spruce Mountain Ranch

This dreamy wedding in Colorado is one I won’t forget! Jessica and Toby were the absolute sweetest. I connected with them initially because of the smiles that they each share, and they were one of the most accommodating, understanding, and welcoming couple I have ever met! It was obvious during their wedding how much they value their family and friends, and they enjoyed every minute celebrating together.

Lower Ranch vs. Upper Ranch

Spruce Mountain is unique in the fact that it has two separate properties that you can choose from, each one having multiple spaces that you can utilize. You will have plenty of options to ensure your wedding is everything you’ve dreamed of!

Upper Ranch

At Upper Ranch, there are six different venue spaces, both indoor and outdoor. The Ponderosa Room is an expansive indoor space that can fit up to 450 seated guests, and has typical Colorado style with wood siding, but a sophisticated feel with a courtyard, fireplace, and a stage. This is a great indoor option for ceremonies in the case of bad weather.

The Spruce Room has a stunning floor-to-ceiling indoor/outdoor fireplace, which is a beautiful backdrop for either a ceremony or reception. Glass overhead doors open up to a lighted courtyard, and market lights create a really romantic atmosphere. This can be added onto the Ponderosa Room for additional space.

The Aspen Room is a smaller space with two 14-foot-tall, custom-made, sliding wood doors that are breathtaking! When open, you can take in the beautiful mountain landscapes framed by an overhead glass door. The Courtyard is the perfect location for an outdoor ceremony, cocktail hour, or dancing under the stars with your guests. It has a large stone fireplace and landscaped surroundings, with the Ponderosa Room as a backdrop.

Prefer to have an outdoor ceremony with breathtaking views? The Lakeview Terrace is an intimate space sitting on the edge of Angus Lake under a gazebo, where you can take in the beautiful surroundings. Trey’s Vista is Spruce Mountain Ranch’s hidden gem! You enter handcrafted wooden doors that open up to an incredible grassy vista with stunning views. All of these venue options are equally gorgeous and give you a variety of spaces to choose from!

Lower Ranch

Lower Ranch also offers five venues, with both indoor and outdoor spaces to choose from. Albert’s Lodge, where we Jessica + Toby had their wedding, is a large, rustic but elegant space with a built in bar, a front porch, and a beautiful floor-to-ceiling fireplace. It opens up to a courtyard lit with market lights, perfect for cocktail hour or just to enjoy a beautiful Colorado night. The Colorado Room is a smaller, rustic space that allows you to enjoy both indoors and outdoors. It has vibrant gardens, indoor and outdoor firelaces, a dewpond and stream, and plenty of activities for your guests to enjoy.

The Courtyard sits between these two spaces and is the perfect outdoor area lit beautifully at night. It has a rustic log, pergola-covered entrance, surrounded by rock walls. This makes a great grand entrance space, or can be used as a dance floor under the stars! Grace’s Chapel is a romantic, serene spot that sits among the properties gardens. During a ceremony, you and your guests will enjoy the shade of an old Willow tree, and you can enjoy all the beautiful flowers, a flowing creek and a view of Spruce Mountain.

Finally, last but definitely not least, you can opt for a ceremony at the Mountainside location, which is pictured above. It’s an incredibly stunning spot with a wood pergola overlooking the incredible surroundings and mountain views. You’ll have the most perfect backdrop for such an important occasion, and it truly is my favorite part of this whole venue!
