As the youngest of seven, I grew up surrounded by big personalities, loud rooms, and Christmas cards that turned into full productions.
Homemade costumes. Matching outfits. Whole scenes staged in the backyard or the cornfield behind our house. The whole nine yards.
Somewhere in the middle of that happy family chaos, I learned to read the emotions of a room. Observing who felt left out. Finding ways to ensure they had fun. Seeing the story inside it all.
That’s why I photograph weddings the way I do.
Some moments are too important to slip away
After a traumatic brain injury caused me to lose memories from my middle school years, photographs became even more meaningful in my eyes.
That understanding has only deepened with time. My brother died before I was born, so photographs are the only way I've ever known his face. One of my grandmothers passed away when I was too young to remember her, and the other I've only recently said goodbye to. All of their memories live on in photographs now. And I'd give anything for more.
THAT’S WHY I'M NOT HERE TO CHASE A VIRAL MOMENT OR BUILD A FEED-WORTHY GALLERY. I'M HERE TO SAFEGUARD YOUR MEMORIES AND DOCUMENT THE MILESTONE MOMENTS YOU’LL WANT TO RETURN TO FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE.
Not just the way I photograph, but the way I communicate with and care for the people in front of my camera. Because the experience matters, the people matter, and the photos should reflect both.

I notice before anyone has to tell me, and I adjust. That's not something I learned in a workshop. It's a skill I honed as the youngest of seven. And it's why you'll end up with a gallery that reflects how you actually felt on the day, not just how you looked standing in front of a camera. Because both matter.
I pick up on the pauses, the energy changes, and the subtle shifts in body language.
I won’t leave you guessing about what comes next. Instead, I’ll be upfront about timelines, weather, pricing, and anything else that could affect your experience. I'd rather over-communicate than have you carry anxiety into a moment you should be fully present for.
More than just good communication, I respect your experience
If you saw something on Pinterest, let's try it. If I get an idea mid-shoot, I'll pitch it. Some of it will work beautifully. Some of it will surprise us both. Either way, every image will be personally culled and edited by me, without AI, because the story your gallery tells should be completely your own.
Creativity isn't something I save for the right moment. It's how I show up to every session.

A CHEERING ROOM NEVER GETS OLD.
The applause. The cheers. The whole room realizing, “They’re married!” It’s one of my favorite sounds on a wedding day.
I STOP TO SMELL THE FLOWERS. LITERALLY.
Wedding flowers. Houseplants. The clearance rack rescue at the garden center. If it grows, there's a good chance I want to bring it home.
