Omaha Engagement Photos Guide
Planning engagement photos in Omaha? From vibrant urban scenes to scenic parks, Omaha offers perfect spots to adventure with your person!
Where to Take Omaha Engagement Photos
Omaha is home to many distinctive and beautiful locations to choose from for engagement sessions. Here are a few of my favorites!
Downtown Omaha
Downtown Omaha has plenty of urban backdrops, from highrises to colorful buildings. There’s so much incredible architecture that can add a lot to your photos. You can even head to a rooftop for a city view or explore the nearby Old Market lofts for a stylish, urban vibe. The opportunities really are endless here!
Memorial Park
Memorial Park is a go-to for any type of shoot, thanks to its natural beauty. It features lush trees, a rose garden, and many more gorgeous views. With so many great locations within the park, it works as a stand-alone shoot spot or paired with another location.
Neale Woods
This spot is famous for its rolling hills and distant views of downtown Omaha. There’s also a tree-covered path leading to more hills and wildflowers. A spot like this really draws attention to you and your partner, more than a spot with a busy backdrop would. It’s truly stunning!
Lewis and Clark Landing
Located east of downtown along the Missouri River, Lewis and Clark Landing is perfect for city skyline shots at twilight. The boardwalk setting and views of the Bob Kerrey Bridge make for dreamy, scenic photos. The mix of river views, cobblestone, and grassy areas create a really wonderful backdrop!
Hitchcock Nature Center
Hitchcock Nature Center is an ideal spot for those looking for wide, open spaces and stunning landscapes. A short 10-minute hike from the parking area leads to panoramic views of rolling hills that stretch for miles. Along the way, you’ll encounter towering trees that create a perfect spot for some photos, and a beautiful creek adds a peaceful touch to the setting. It’s the perfect place to unwind, relax in the grass, and enjoy the surroundings.
