Beauty is everywhere here in Breckenridge, so you have many different locations you can choose for your elopement, and all are equally beautiful! Below are a few of my favorites.
Boreas Pass
With sweeping views of the Tenmile Range, Boreas Pass is an excellent option for couples who want a dramatic mountain backdrop. This scenic location offers both summer wildflowers and vibrant fall foliage, making it a year-round favorite. There’s also plenty of space for your furry friends to join you!
Sapphire Point
This easily accessible overlook offers panoramic views of the Dillon Reservoir and the surrounding mountains. Perfect for small elopements, Sapphire Point is especially popular during sunrise or sunset, when the lighting adds an extra touch of magic. It’s a spot that doesn’t require a hike, that is also pet-friendly.
Cucumber Gulch Wildlife Preserve
For couples who are nature lovers, Cucumber Gulch offers serene wetlands, meadows, and forested areas. The unique location allows for intimate elopement ceremonies surrounded by wildlife and tranquility.
Hoosier Pass
Just a short drive from Breckenridge, Hoosier Pass offers stunning views at over 11,500 feet. This location is perfect for adventurous couples who want to exchange vows amidst towering peaks and alpine scenery. The views here are truly unrivaled!
Mohawk Lakes
This hike takes you through alpine meadows, past cascading waterfalls, and up to stunning mountain lakes. While it's a bit more of an adventure, the views are worth it for those who want an elopement in a much more secluded location.
The Town of Breckenridge
Some couples prefer the charm of Breckenridge’s historic downtown. For this elopement, we found a cozy awning to frame the town and the mountains in the background. It’s the perfect spot for popping champagne and celebrating in style while capturing the spirit of Breckenridge.
